Cigar Box

I box this box at Michael's for $1.50 and decoupage cream. The paper is from Heart Warming paper. This is my take on a cigar box and using the decoupage cream for the first time.

1950's Paint Samples

These are the colors we have decided for the dinning room area. Light blue walls with green accents because the kitchen with going to be light yellow and green cabinets (see photo below)and white/chrome appliances.

I found this cake holder at Tuesday Morning for $12.99. To my surprise it was also a chip & dip holder. I thought it would go great with my hawiian and tiki themed backyard themed.

1950's Kennmore Toast

I went to an antique store in Long Beach Ca and fell in love with this toast. They had four toasts but this one was the only one from the 1950's and I was sold. It has a few scratches and small dings but in a wonderful condition. One step closer towards my dream kitchen. Kinda pricy but it is vintage $45.oo

My future kitchen!!

The kitchen of my dreams lies within this photograph! I came across this kitchen surfing the internet... The colors and the cabinets are so spot on. Can't wait to get started.

My new project: My future home

When do i begin? My boyfriend and I are purchasing our first home this time next year. We are buying my sister's home. Its a four bedroom and two bath home. And my journey is to create a "Atomic-Retro" inspired home.
